Hello from Honey Music School!
We provide online lessons in Japanese vocal training, lyric writing, composition, and music production.
Today, we are happy to share exciting news: a new release from our student collaboration project. Students from Honey Music School and Next Lead Music School have been working together to create original songs, dividing roles such as songwriting, arrangement, mixing, and singing.
This time, the project features Myka Gu, who has already released three original songs. Her 4th single Night Driving is now available!
The production style was fully online — students exchanged data from home, communicated through feedback, and respected each other’s ideas. The school only gave minimal guidance, allowing the students’ creativity to shine. After the release, many shared reflections such as, “I could have tried a different approach,” or “Maybe I should have edited more carefully.” These reflections are also valuable lessons, showing how practical collaboration leads to growth.
