Hello! This is Honey Music School.
We provide online lessons in Japanese vocal training, narration, songwriting, composition, and DTM to students all around the world.
Today, we would like to share some of our activities from the first half of 2025 that go beyond our regular lessons.

Myka Gu – 1st Project
After inviting song submissions for some time, we are happy to announce the release of three songs from Myka Gu’s 1st Project.
This project was a music collaboration between students from Honey Music School and our sister school, Next Lead Music School. Together, they created songs while enjoying cultural exchange through music.
Recording Session
The vocal recording took place in the summer of 2024 in Yokohama, Kanagawa. You can watch the behind-the-scenes video on our YouTube channel.
Activities like this give students valuable experiences beyond their usual lessons. If you are enrolled in our Pro Singer Course and want to sing your own original song, please feel free to let us know!

Lunch Gathering
This year, we held our first lunch gathering near Ueno Station in Tokyo.
We truly appreciate everyone who joined us on a weekday afternoon.
We had planned to hold the second gathering in summer, but the extreme heat made it difficult… Hopefully, we can have one this autumn!
Store BGM Project – “Naizo Seitai Relieve”
At Honey Music School, we give students the chance to create background music suitable for Japanese companies’ offices or stores. Participants can proudly include their work in their portfolio.
This time, we collaborated with Naizo Seitai Relieve, a chiropractic clinic in Oyama, Tochigi Prefecture.
The songs were released not only on YouTube but also on digital streaming platforms.
We also invited other composers to submit songs under the same theme. Listening to each other’s work gave participants a chance to learn and feel inspired. Whether your piece turned out exactly as you wanted or not, let’s still say “Nice work!” to each other.
FM Radio Program – “Kimi ni Focus”
From April to June, we successfully continued broadcasting our radio program. This season, we were able to feature many students’ original songs on air, making for a very rich and fulfilling time.

Myka Gu – 2nd Project
Myka Gu’s 2nd Project has already begun!
In June 2025, we recorded vocals at a studio in Setagaya, Tokyo.
The release is coming soon! We are also planning another project involving many of the participants from before. We’re excited to see what’s next!
Other Projects
Several new projects are also in progress, including:
- More student collaboration projects
- Store BGM projects
- A new “Beat de Roudoku” project (narration with original beats)
The first half of 2025 was full of good news as our students’ music activities grew stronger. Let’s stay healthy and keep up the great work in the second half of the year!
